U15-U19 (2006-2002):

After careful consideration, our staff has made the decision to no longer have our U15-U19 teams participate in Oregon Youth Soccer Association’s (OYSA) fall league. It has been our commitment, since the beginning of the 2020/21 season, to prioritize the health and safety of our club members during all club activities and operations.

At this time, we do not feel it is in the best interest of our club members to participate. We will continue to work with OYSA and other partner clubs to find safe formats for games, leagues and competition moving forward.

U8-U14 (2013-2007):

OYSA was working to provide a 2020 fall league for all U8-U14 players, however with many facilities still not approved for league games, there is not enough field space to operate the league. These age-groups will instead play in their league and cup competitions in the spring.

At this time, Portland Parks and Rec is permitting only inner-club play on their fields, including Buckman Field and Delta Park.

We will continue to prioritize outdoor activities for our players by providing three training sessions and/or games each week through the fall season, in order to maintain the same amount of playing time that we would have in a typical season. There are no changes to the fall practice schedule at this time.

More information on the club’s winter programs, winter training schedule, and the spring league will be provided soon.

We are excited to announce our new outdoor Youth Development Program Winter Camp. The program will provide training and playing opportunities for both current and new players, while continuing to prioritize the health and safety of our club members.

  • Mondays and Wednesdays (11/30 - 1/25) from 4-5pm at Buckman Field, 12 sessions total.

  • On Mondays, players will focus on technical skills and teamwork, and during the Wednesday sessions, our coaches will lead players through free play and games.

  • As we approach cold & flu season, we would like to remind all club members of the criteria for participation and notification policies.

  • Please review our Club Protocols, which have been updated (October 2020) based on OHA’s guidance for sports and K-12 activities.

  • Players are required to wear their facemask, covering both their mouth and nose, before, during and after every training session and game.

  • We would also like to remind all parents to avoid congregating at entrances and exits at club activities. Parents are encouraged to stay in their cars for pick-up and drop-off. If a parent must exit their car, they are required to wear a mask and maintain social distance at all times.

Criteria for Player Participation:

  • No signs or symptoms of COVID-19 and no close contact with anyone exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

  • All players are required to have their temperature taken 30 minutes prior to all club activities.

Notify your coach or the club director immediately if any of the situations below occur:

  1. The player has COVID-19 symptoms, including a fever.

  2. The player has been in close contact with anyone exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, in the past 14 days.

  3. The player has been in close contact with anyone who tested positive for COVID-19, in the past 14 days.

  4. The player has tested positive for COVID-19.

PCU will focus on outdoor training opportunities for our players at Buckman Field and will not be including futsal as part of our winter programming.

The club supports players searching for additional opportunities to play, including futsal, Regional Training Center (RTC) programs, highschool training programs, etc.

  • Players are required to wear their facemask, covering both their mouth and nose, before, during and after every training session and game.

  • We are currently sold out of our club masks, but we will send out a reminder when they are back in stock, and available for pickup (about two weeks).

  • When back in stock, club facemasks will be available for purchase at the clubhouse for $10 each (cash or check only).
