Since 1983, Portland City United Soccer Club has inspired young athletes to grow through the game of soccer.

Our club offers U5-19 players of all levels a wide range of teams, academies, camps, leagues, and tournaments opportunities. We provide both state and platform league teams, along with clear development pathways for our pre-competitive players. From local rivalries to regional showcases and national stages, PCU players compete at the level that challenges them to grow and succeed. Our structure also provides flexibility for multi-sport athletes, supporting their overall development. Our on-field club house and office at Buckman Field provides a space where players and families can connect, learn and build community beyond the field.

At PCU we strive to foster a life-long love of the game, confident athletes and strong teammates. Our quality facilities and licensed coaches create a player-centered environment where athletes build skill and character every day. Our tournaments, the PCU Summer Classic and the Rose City Classic, draw top teams from across the Pacific Northwest to Portland for fun weekends of competition and lasting memories for players and families.

As a community-based nonprofit, our commitment to mentorship opportunities, need-based financial aid, and field development initiatives reflects our mission to make soccer accessible to all. Through these efforts, PCU strengthens the game while fostering meaningful community connection and expanding opportunities for youth and families across Portland.

Eutre FC Partnership & Spain Trip

Through our partnership with Eture FC, our older teams and coaches have an option to travel to Spain over Spring Break for a week-long international training experience. Players train with Eture’s coaching staff, attend local matches, and gain insight into international playing styles and opportunities — an experience that broadens both their game and their perspective. Travel trip costs are separate from and in addition to standard club fees.

Our Facilities

Buckman Field Complex is a 245,000-square-foot facility featuring synthetic, FIFA-approved turf and lights, providing a high-quality training environment for our teams year-round. Located on the northwest corner of the field, our office and clubhouse serve as the heart of our club. The space includes restrooms, a classroom for team meetings and film sessions, and a hangout area complete with foosball tables and TVs. It's a space where players and families can connect, learn and build community beyond the field.

The first phase of our newest field development project at Portland Christian H.S. is now complete. The facility features a full-sized, lighted turf field with stadium seating for families, along with three outdoor futsal courts that provide additional technical training opportunities for our players. Home games are played at both facilities, but Buckman Field remains our home base. Teams may utilize the PCHS for supplemental sessions to prepare for showcases cups or tournament competition.
