Take Your Game to the Next Level This Summer!

Looking to sharpen your skills over the summer? Get extra touches, quality coaching and challenge yourself alongside other motivated players—without committing to a full-year competitive program.

Program is a great fit for players looking for extra training ahead of their high school's soccer tryouts, as well as recreational players looking for more time on the ball. With multiple team's within each age-group, PCU's Summer Program provides access to high quality facilities, licensed coaching staff and summer tournament playing opportunities for players of all levels.

No tryouts required — just come ready to learn, work hard and enjoy the game.

Training Dates: May 18 – July 30, 2026

Schedule: 90-minute training sessions, twice a week (M/W or T/Th)

Location: Rotation between Buckman Field and Portland Christian | learn more

Registration Fee: $400 per player, pay in full only

Participants train with PCU's Competitive Teams. There are no league games for the summer season, but players have the option to be added to tournament rosters. There is an additional cost due directly to the coach to participate in these events and families can mark their availability and view the schedule on the BYGA app once invited at the start of the season.

  • Players planning to participate in the Summer Program should not register for Annual Program tryouts in May.

  • Players who wish to return after their high school season for Winter '26 & Spring '27 may be considered based on roster availability and coach approval. A credit will be applied toward the Annual Program cost.

  • Please note that roster spots are not guaranteed in November. The only way to secure a full-year Competitive Team placement is by attending May tryouts.

  • As part of our continued efforts to improve communication, organization and the overall club experience at PCU, we have transitioned our registration platform from SportsConnect to BYGA starting with tryout. Please use the link below to get signed up.

All Summer Program participants are required to wear the official PCU training kit from Tursi Soccer to all practice sessions, which includes the red jersey and black shorts. Game jerseys (white and striped) are not required unless participating in tournaments.

PCU's Transition to Grade-Based Teams

Our club will transition teams to a grade-based format starting with upcoming tryouts for the 2026/27 season in May, as mandated by US Soccer governing bodies. All teams will now follow an August 1 – July 31 age-group cycle, replacing the previous January 1 – December 31 birth-year structure.

We are happy to review individual circumstances and provide guidance.

Player Pathways

Interested in joining a PCU Competitive Team rather than Summer Only? PCU provides both state (OYSA) and platform league (Pre-ECNL RL & ENCL-RL) teams that train annually (May-August 2026 + November 2026-April 2027, off in fall for HS soccer season). From local rivalries to regional showcases and national stages, PCU players compete at the level that challenges them to grow and succeed. Our structure also provides flexibility for multi-sport athletes, supporting their overall development.

May 2026 Tryout required, see schedule by visiting link below.

At PCU we strive to foster a life-long love of the game, confident athletes and strong teammates. Our quality facilities and licensed coaches create a player-centered environment where athletes build skill and character every day. As a community-based nonprofit, our commitment to mentorship opportunities, need-based financial aid, and field development initiatives reflects our mission to make soccer accessible to all.

Players can choose to join the Summer Program, and if they wish to return after their high school season for Winter '26 & Spring '27, may be considered based on roster availability and coach approval. A credit will be applied toward the Annual Program cost. Please note that roster spots are not guaranteed in November. The only way to secure a full-year Competitive Team placement is by attending May tryouts.
