Take Your Game to the Next Level This Summer!

Looking to sharpen your skills before your high school season? PCU’s Summer Training Program gives U15–U19 players the chance to train with licensed coaches and competitive teammates, without committing to our full Annual Program.

No tryouts required—just show up ready to improve, compete, and have fun!

Important:

Players planning to participate in the Summer Program should not register for Annual Program tryouts in May. Players who wish to return after their high school season for Winter & Spring may be considered (based on roster availability and coach approval). A credit will be applied toward the Annual Program cost. Please note that roster spots are not guaranteed in November. The only way to secure a full-year Competitive Team placement is through May tryouts.

Program Details:

  • Dates: May 18 – July 30, 2026

  • Cost: $400 per player

  • Uniform: PCU training kit (red jersey + black shorts), see details below

  • Format: Training only (no league games)

  • Schedule: 90-minute sessions, twice weekly (M/W or T/Th)

  • Location: Buckman Field

  • Players train alongside their age group’s Competitive Team

  • Occasional training adjustments may occur around tournament weekends. Families will receive a TeamSnap invite prior to the first session to access the team calendar and communication.

As part of our continued efforts to improve communication, organization and the overall club experience at PCU, we have transitioned our registration platform from SportsConnect to BYGA starting with the 26/27 season.

FAQ:

If I plan to do Summer Program, do I need to tryout in May:

No, if you plan to participate this summer only, skip Annual Program team tryouts in May.

What if I want to start with Summer and add Winter & Spring later?

Mid-Season roster spots on our teams require an official tryout and are limited, dependent on availability. The only way to secure a full-year Competitive Team placement is to be offered a spot by attending May tryouts.

Optional Tournaments

Summer-Only players may be added to tournament rosters at the coach’s discretion. Tournament expenses are separate from the Club Fee and paid directly to the team. Team fees vary and costs are divided among participating players which include:

  • Tournament registration

  • Travel expenses

  • Additional team activities

Training Kit Requirements

All Summer-Only players must purchase the official PCU training kit from Tursi Soccer which includes the red jersey and black shorts. Game jerseys are not required unless participating in tournaments.
