Annual Tryouts

Teams hold formal tryouts for the each season in the first week of May with each age-group's tryout schedule including two days of observation. Players will receive their number and be divided up into cohorts where they will be evaluated by our coaching staff to assess your player's skills, decision making, physiological/psychological aspects of their play. Players will be notified following tryouts by our coaching staff if we think they will be a good fit on one of our teams.

Join Mid-Season:

If you are interested in joining mid-season, please contact pcusc@pcusc.org to connect with the head coach of the age-group. If there are any spots currently available, your player will be invited to attend one of the team's regular training sessions to see if it is a good fit. You must register for "tryouts," pay the $25 fee and sign all waivers before attending the session. If the coach would like to offer your player a spot, you will be sent the official team invite and will be able to register for the season. Club membership rates will be prorated based on date of first official practice.

College Preparation

PCU's committed to providing our student athletes with the resources, information, and support needed to find the right school to continue their soccer experience beyond the club and high school levels. Our College Information Packet is designed to help players and families navigate the college search and recruitment process, answering questions such as: When should I start looking at schools? What factors should I consider in the college search process? How and when should I connect with coaches and schools? What are the rules for NCAA and college athletics? As you begin your college search process, be sure to involve your coaches, counselors, academic advisors, teachers, parents and the PCU staff.
