We are thrilled to announce we are a founding member of the ECNL Regional League Girls - Far West, set to kick off in the 2026-27 season!
The ECNL Regional League is proud to announce the launch of the ECNL Regional League Girls - Far West for the 2026-27 season, with six new clubs joining the ECNL Regional League (Capital FC, Eugene Metro, FC Portland, Oregon Premier, Portland City, and United PDX), as well as the move of Eastside Timbers from the ECNL Regional League Girls - Northwest.
The ECNL Regional League - Far West will serve clubs and players throughout the state of Oregon, improve the league competition structure for the top teams in these clubs, and continue to enhance the depth and quality of the ECNL Regional League around the country.
"We’re excited to join the ECNL Regional League with both our boys and girls teams as it aligns with our commitment to player development, meaningful competition, and long-term growth,” said Portland City United Director of Coaching Ashton Betts. “This platform provides our players with the opportunity to compete at a higher level while staying connected to our club values and community. It’s an important step forward as we continue to create the best possible environment for our players and families to thrive.”
“The creation of the ECNL Regional League - Far West is a great addition to the ECNL RL, and a step forward for these clubs and their players,” said ECNL Regional League Girls Commissioner Mikayla Hampton. “The league will provide a great level of competition over the full season with limited travel, the opportunity to compete in incredible showcases and events, and fantastic postseason structure. We are excited to work with these club leaders to create a better soccer environment for growth, development, and exposure for their players, in the country’s true proving ground!”
