Jeff Enquist: Head Coach 2008 Boys, PCU CEO

Coaching Background:

  • USSF National B License

  • USSY National Youth License

  • Director of PCU for 27 years. Designed and oversaw construction of Buckman Field in partnership with City of Portland, Portland Public Schools and St. Mary's.

  • OYSA Administrator of the Year (2014)

  • Head coach of the Pacific University men's soccer team (1993-1999). In his seven seasons with the Boxers, he led the team to an 81-45-2 record and was named the 1994 and 1996 Northwest Regional Coach of the Year. His team made their first appearance in the NCAA playoffs in 1998 and was ranked seventeenth in the final NCAA Division III poll during his last year.

  • Head Coach at Wilson High School & Fort Vancouver High School

Playing Background:

  • Beaverton High School, Oregon Player of the Year (1986), Parade Magazine All-American and a NSCAA All-American

  • Attended and played soccer at UNLV before transferring to Oregon State University.

  • In 1987, he played the collegiate off season with the semi-professional F.C. Portland of the Western Soccer Alliance.

  • In 1989, he signed with F.C. Portland, now known as the Portland Timbers. Following the 1990 season, he left professional soccer to devote himself to coaching. He returned for one more season in 1996 with the Cascade Surge as player and assistant coach.

Brian McNicholas: Goalkeeping Director & Assistant Coach 2009 Boys

Greg Webster: Assistant Coach 2008 Girls

Nate Otto: Assistant Coach 2007 Boys

  • Wilson HS (Ida B. Wells) 3 year varsity starter, 2 year captain, 2 year all-conference first team

  • NCAA DIII four year centerback / holding center midfielder for the University of Puget Sound

  • One season of semi-pro with South Sound FC

I am ecstatic to return for another season with the 07 Boys group and continue the outstanding momentum they have built over the past year. It is a great group of young men, and I am looking forward to helping them on to continued success and the kickoff of college recruiting!
